Geophysics of Earth, the Moon, and other rocky planetary bodies in the solar system
Geophysics of sedimentary basins
ABOUT ME
I am a geophysicist with broad interests. What interests me the most is the heat that comes out through the surface of the rocky planets (including Earth) and moons of the solar system. By studying how much heat comes out and how it varies geographically through the surface, you can infer the inner workings of the planets and the moons, and the geologic evolution from their beginnings. I was originally trained as a marine geophysicist, and I have worked on a variety of research topics related to sedimentary basins on Earth, like the Gulf of Mexico, before I have focused more on planetary geophysics.
